A series of learning programmes on the tactical approach of fire brigades at airports has been designed and implemented by SZENARIS. These learning programmes convey the exact fire-fighting tactics in the event of accidents involving helicopters and airplanes. Learners have to react and act quickly and safely in an emergency in order to prevent damage to people and material.

The learning programme shows the procedure for different application scenarios. In addition, the hazardous substances carried in or on the aircraft are named and the dangers arising from them are clearly explained. In particular, the protection and safety regulations concerning aircraft fuels, explosives, lubricants and hydraulic fluids are worked out for different aircraft types.
