During operations, the ability to act successfully in a wide variety of scenarios is of central importance to the Bundeswehr. For this reason, the training concept “Competence-Oriented Training (KOA)” was developed, which promotes the mission-oriented action competence of soldiers by means of practical relevance and realistic scenarios. The “KOA” learning program uses practical examples to support Bundeswehr personnel in gradually converting their training to competence orientation and reducing resistance.
