SZENARIS at (Aus)Bildungskongress 2022 of the German Armed Forces

From September 13 to 15, 2022, the German Armed Forces invite you to the (Aus)Bildungskongress 2022 at Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Armed Forces Hamburg (HSU/UniBw HH). After a break of two years due to the pandemic, this time the congress will take place as a (partly) virtual event.

Since 2004, the (Aus)Bildungskongress of the German Armed Forces (until 2014 Fernausbildungskongress) has combined technology and (training) education from a scientific as well as an application-oriented perspective by combining conferences with an accompanying trade exhibition. Under this year’s theme “Digital (Education): Is Intelligence Really Becoming ‘Artificial’?”, the conference will sum up how technology and digitality have changed education and training and what consequences can be derived from this for future learning processes.

This year, SZENARIS will be presenting the virtual reality simulation “Pontonboot” (PoBo), among other things, at booth no. 24. This is a training system in which the newly developed pontoon boat system HYDRA is virtually steered on the Elbe. The pontoon boat developed by GDELS can be used as a floating platform, transport boat / rescue boat as well as a temporary bridge. Interested parties can take over the steering themselves at our booth. We will also present our latest developments for the virtual team training system KoCUA (Kooperative Computerunterstützte Ausbildung, engl. Cooperative Computer Assisted Training), which is used by the bridge-laying personnel of the German Armed Forces to train the construction and dismantling of military / temporary bridges using the M3, FFB and FSB systems.
